Shibusawa‑kun is the cheerful mascot created to promote the Eiichi Shibusawa Project in Kita‑ku (Kita Ward), Tokyo. Named after the famous industrialist featured on the revamped ¥10,000 bill, Shibusawa‑kun plays an essential role in keeping the memory and legacy of Eiichi Shibusawa alive throughout the ward.
He is attractive character, popular with children and adults. We enjoyed Bon Dancing with locals.
